Nate Mitchell, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with expertise in providing psychological testing for children, adolescents, and young adults. In-depth psychological testing can help persons determine if they have ADHD, a learning disability, or an area of special giftedness. Psychological Testing can also help parents/students receive special accommodations for school or the ACT/SAT.
Dr. Mitchell earned his Ph.D. from the University of Louisville and completed an APA-accredited internship at Vanderbilt University-Nashville V.A. Consortium. In addition to serving clients in KPMHS’s offices, Dr. Mitchell also serves as Associate Professor at Spalding University, where he directs the Health Psychology Emphasis Area in the clinical psychology doctoral program. He teaches psychology doctoral students how to conduct high quality psychotherapy in the areas of anxiety, depression, and behavioral medicine.
